We guarantee complete discretion: your profile is never displayed publicly, cannot be searched or browsed by other wedding guests (or the hosts), and is handled with the highest level of confidentiality.

2. Information We Collect

To facilitate meaningful introductions, we collect personal information directly from you when you register as a guest or book Knotify for an onboarding event:

• Identity Details: Full name, age, gender, and contact details (email address and phone/WhatsApp number).
• Wedding Association: The name of the wedding host and event you are attending.
• Vetting & Background Data: Verification information requested during our phone call or optional document submissions.
• Matchmaking Preferences: Education, profession, lifestyle factors, family background, and compatibility preferences.

3. Verification & Credibility Checks

Unlike online dating apps, we build connections based on real-world trust. We verify all participant profiles through a direct verification phone call and by offering the option of submitting a verification document. This process helps safeguard our community against fraudulent profiles, hidden debts, incorrect marriage histories, or abusive behaviors.

4. How We Use and Share Information

Your information is used solely for manual compatibility reviews by the Knotify team. It is never sold, shared with wedding hosts, or displayed to other guests.

Explicit Consent Rule: We only share contact details and profiles between two candidates after we have identified a highly compatible match and both individuals have actively expressed mutual interest and provided explicit consent.

5. Data Retention & Your Right to Deletion

We retain your data as long as you choose to remain in the Knotify matchmaking network. You have the right to withdraw your consent and request the complete deletion of your registration information from our database at any stage. To request deletion, contact our support team at knotify30@gmail.com.
