1. Acceptable Use and Eligibility
By accessing or registering with Knotify, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age, legally single, and actively looking for a marriage partner. Our services are strictly marriage-focused and designed for invited guests, families, and verified members of wedding networks. Falsifying identity or wedding association is a breach of these Terms.
2. Pricing, Fees & Matches
For Individual Guests:
- Registration and profile submission are completely free.
- A membership fee of ₹500 is charged only after a compatible match is found and both parties give mutual consent to connect.
- Membership includes a verified introduction, facilitated communication prompts, and 1 month of continued matchmaking support across Knotify databases if the first introduction does not suit your needs.
3. Wedding Host Packages & Refund Policy
Wedding onboarding is offered as a Basic package (Free) or a Premium Complete Package (₹2,999 launch price).
Important Refund Policy: Because Knotify’s matchmaking success is reliant on the registration pool of wedding guests, full payment is required prior to the wedding event, and no refunds will be offered if the participant registration numbers are too low to yield compatible matches.
4. Vetting and Information Accuracy
Knotify conducts verification phone calls and profile reviews. However, Knotify does not perform comprehensive legal background investigations and is not responsible for misrepresentations, false claims (regarding salaries, debt, marital status, or history), or misconduct by individual users. You are encouraged to perform your own background checks before moving forward with family introductions.
5. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Any disputes arising in connection with these services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kolkata, West Bengal.
